The Sherwood Marshall Gold Delorean.

AmEx Gold Car! The second one. Manual, saddle brown, assembled in Belfast. Only two other cars have original saddle brown interiors (aside from Proto1,) 20105, (gold car assembled by Consolidated from spares) and 10853, which is in Germany.

On display at National Auto Museum (Harrahs) in the biggest little city in the world, Reno, NV. www.automuseum.org

"…the only one of the three existing gold-plated examples to be equipped with a manual transmission. This car has a tan interior. Like its golden siblings, it is a low-mileage vehicle with only 1,442 miles (2,307 km) on the odometer."

Was shown at "Cars at the Capital" in Washington DC, May 2, 2014.

Update 7/2015: This car was covered in DeloreanWorld magazine, Vol II, Number 2, Summer 2005, with many period pictures. It was purchased by Convalescent Home developer Sherwood Marshall and delivered to a Cadillac Dealer in San Francisco. It was driven everywhere for five months, but attracted crowds everywhere. Due to insurance concern, it was donated to the William F. Harrah Automobile Foundation in 1986 for a tax credit.
